We at Kiwa are now looking for an engaged and technically skilled inspection engineer to join our team in Stockholm. You will play an important role in ensuring the safety of pressurized equipment within the power and process industry – a job of great significance for both our customers and society.
About the role:
As an inspection engineer with us, you will have an independent and varied job where you:
- Conduct technical inspections of pressurized equipment such as boilers, pipelines, and process vessels to ensure they meet applicable safety requirements
- Primarily work with larger facilities in the power and process industry
- Take on increased responsibility for these customers, which means you plan and coordinate inspections in close dialogue with both customers and various parts of Kiwa's organization.
- Contribute expertise in risk assessments, ongoing supervision programs, and other technical evaluations
- Plan and report your work independently – with great freedom and personal responsibility
- You will work from home and have the opportunity to manage your workdays yourself. To facilitate your work, we offer a company car or a benefit car.
Do you have what it takes?
We are looking for someone who is curious, responsible, and enjoys meeting people. You thrive in independent work but also appreciate collaboration and being part of a team. You are meticulous, structured, and confident in making your own decisions.
We would like you to have:
- Technical high school education or a degree as a bachelor engineer/marine engineer
- Material and welding knowledge – understanding of welding methods and material properties
- Project management and customer coordination – experience in planning and coordinating inspections with larger clients and internal teams
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Driving license B
It is highly meritorious if you are currently an inspection engineer with relevant authority. It is also advantageous if you have experience working in the power or process industry.
What can you expect in return?
Kiwa is currently one of the most successful companies in inspection, testing, certification, and technical consulting, which we owe to our employees who, through their commitment and knowledge, contribute to safety and sustainability for our customers and society. Therefore, Kiwa invests heavily in its employees and their development. Through your daily work, interesting projects, and training, you and your skills will constantly develop as part of Kiwa! For us, teamwork is important, and together we create a positive work environment where we are all part of a larger community, the Kiwa community!
- Secure and stable employment - Kiwa has a collective agreement
- Generous wellness allowance
- Compensation for, among other things, medical care, vaccinations, and the opportunity for a thorough health analysis
- A time bank so you can take time off when you want - not just when the calendar's red days occur
- The opportunity to join Kiwa's ski trip with about 100 wonderful colleagues
